As in the previous years, the opening ceremony will be hosted by the Kiel actor, Hans-Christian Hoth who will introduce the festival participants and the members of the jury. Caspar Frantz, an internationally acclaimed and award-winning pianist and a native of Kiel will be his special guest.

Opening remarks by Anke Spoorendonk, Schleswig-Holstein Culture Minister; Wolfgang Rüttgers, Kiel Culture Councillor and Daniel Karasek, Director General of Kiel Theatre will be followed by Kristien De Proost’s“On Track”.
